countryside morning stoneware planter

this 6 inch wide planter was thrown by my studiomate, Halfdan Hem, and decorated by me. the bottom has a crack, which makes it somewhat fragile; however, it is still a perfectly suitable planter. the unglazed clay has a slightly glossy finish, but will still absorb some moisture. the decoration is done with black under glaze. a small home with plants and at least one chicken greets a friendly sun rising. there’s also two flowers 🙂
